Topics 

  1. 529 Plans - used nationwide at eligible colleges and universities, community or technical colleges, graduate schools and for K-12 schools. Under very limiting conditions account owners can roll over unused funds into a Roth IRA for the beneficiary.
  2. Tuition payments made directly to a college aren't considered taxable gifts, no matter how large the payment.
  3. Roth Accounts for Children
  4. Uniform Gifts to Minors Accounts (UGMA); Can be rolled into a 529 Plan.
  5. Giving cash or securities.
