Please join Bev Moe on Monday, November 3, for a 5.5-mile hike at an average pace of roughly 18 minutes-per-mile at one of the most beautiful parks in the Twin Cities West Metro area, Hyland Lake Park Reserve in Bloomington.
A bonus mile can be added at the end of the hike for those who want to go farther, and an early exit will be available for those who wish to hike only 4 miles.
The restrooms are open, and a water fountain is available to fill your water bottle both before and after the hike.
Meet at 9:20 a.m. outside the Visitor Center for a hike start time of 9:30 am.
We will hike mostly on dirt and grass trails, with some paved areas, with a few moderate hills. Hiking poles are optional on this hike.
We will hike in light rain, but not a thunderstorm. If it looks like bad weather, we will cancel the hike by 8 a.m.
Please register for this hike. Your registration info will be used to be sure everyone has arrived. Registrations will be accepted up to the day before the hike.
