8737 East Bush Lake Rd.
Bloomington, MN 55438
Please join Michael Luxenberg on Monday, December 1, for a hike that is approximately 5 miles in length at an average pace of roughly 18–20 minutes per mile in one of the most beautiful parks in the West Metro: Richardson Nature Center, located toward north end of Hyland Lake Park Reserve in Bloomington. We will hike from the Richardson Nature Center building at 8737 East Bush Lake Road in Bloomington. Shortcuts will be noted along the way for those wishing a shorter hike.
The restrooms are open, and a water fountain is available to fill your water bottle both before and after the hike. Meet at 9:20 a.m. outside the Richardson Nature Center building for a hike start time of 9:30 a.m.
We will hike mostly on dirt and grass trails, with some paved areas and a few moderate hills. Hiking poles are optional on this hike. Parking is free!
We will hike in light rain, but not a thunderstorm. If it looks like bad weather, we will cancel the hike by 8 a.m. Contact Michael Luxenberg with questions about the event.
Please register for this hike. Your registration info will be used to be sure everyone has arrived before we start the hike. Registrations will be accepted up to the day before the hike.
