Claudia Parliament retired in 2015 after 30 years as a faculty member in the Department of Applied Economics in the College of Food, Agriculture and Natural Resource Sciences (CFANS). During the 20 years of her time at the University she served as director of the Minnesota Council on Economic Education (MCEE), a non-profit within the University promoting economic education through student contests, curriculum development, and professional development offerings for K-12 educators.

In retirement she continues her interest in synchronized swimming through coaching, judging, and competing.
