The Travel Committee organizes travel tours for UMRA members that are educational and provide an opportunity to meet new members and socialize. We try to plan four tours a year, based on the results of the 2019 member trip survey and new requests.
We are currently working with Road Scholar, a not-for-profit travel company, which offers private group tours that include in the cost: informative lectures; special “behind the scenes experiences; enrichment activities; cultural events and performances; a group leader through the tour handling all the logistics; 24-hour assistance for medical and other medical emergencies.

The Retiree Association at Winona State is inviting UMRA members to join them a trip to Costa Rica in 2024. The final date to register is October 2, 2023. You're encouraged to register some time in August as spaces will fill up.
In a land known for its explorers, make your own discoveries in Portugal on this Nov 2024 journey to medieval monasteries, fertile vineyards and cities that are equal parts history and modern energy.
