Candidate for re-election as Treasurer, Carl Adams retired in 2013 from the faculty of Information and Decision Sciences in the Carlson School of Management (CSOM). His expertise includes strategy and structure of information systems/information technology.

His leadership experience includes department chairman for 18 years; special assistant for Planning for Bob Stein and subsequently Nils Hasselmo; and director of the Management Information Systems Research Center in CSOM for six years. He also served the University Senate in many capacities over 40 years. “I see UMRA as a win-win activity for its members and for the University that I want to be active in supporting,” he says. Carl has served on the UMRA Board since May 2014 and as UMRA Treasurer in 2015–16.
