UMRA members now have two convenient options for contributing financially to support UMRA programs and activities. At the bottom of every page on the UMRA website there are now two buttons that allow you to make donations online to support UMRA and/or UMRA’s Professional Development Grants for Retirees (PDGR) program.

Donate to UMRA. Donations to UMRA help support UMRA programs and outreach. In 2026, UMRA will host the annual Big Ten Retirees Association Conference, and your donations will be critical to making this a success. Donations to UMRA also help to subsidize the cost of our monthly luncheon forums as well as the printing and mailing of our newsletters. Gifts to UMRA as a 501(c)(4) organization are not tax-deductible, but you can feel good about supporting this great organization!

Donate to Grants for Retirees. UMRA’s competitive PDGR program provides funding for University retirees to continue their scholarship or pursue new projects. Financial contributions to the PDGR fund, which is managed by the University of Minnesota Foundation, are fully tax deductible. Learn more about the PDGR program.
