Ideas welcomed for future Living Well workshops

Our recent Survey of Future UMRA Programming and use of Zoom 2020 told us that many UMRA members would like to participate in online versions of our Living Well workshops. Members also offered several suggestions for future topics.  So, the UMRA Cares and Workshop Committee is looking at when and how to begin these offerings.

As with our in-person workshops, we would expect a smaller audience and more interaction than with the UMRA Forum presentations.  Topics are likely to include ones that were postponed from the spring, including the workshops on cybersecurity and memoir writing, as well as some focused either on coping with the pandemic and/or on distracting oneself from it.

We would very much appreciate your suggestions for future online Living Well workshops, emailed to Ron Matross.

In the meantime, the University is offering a wide array of resources for helping us to cope and thrive in these challenging times. Several can be found at the Bakken Center for Spirituality and Health, including COVID-19: Bakken Center Information and Resources and Taking Charge of Your Health and Wellbeing.
