Our workshop theme, exploring creativity, continues with Lucy Rose Fischer, "Life is a Work of Art." The workshop begins at 1:30 p.m., in Campus Club ABC, following the luncheon program.

Following his luncheon presentation at the April UMRA meeting, speaker Dr. Robert Kane will lead a workshop on caregiving as part of our series, Living Well in Later Life.

The November workshop offers Movin’ and Groovin’ — just in time for Thanksgiving. How is the movin’ and groovin’ in your lifestyle? The workshop will be led by Martha Feda, MA, MLS, who is an experienced health coach.
Our second of three workshops on managing finances in retirement will emphasize managing health care costs. The presenter is Professor Andrew Whitman, J.D., Ph.D., C.F.P., professor of insurance in the Carlson School of Management. He has invited several panel members to comment on their personal experience on these issues. The workshop will address the lack of coverage by Medicare and supplements, dealing with long-term care facilities, and issues with long-term care insurance and estate planning.
