UMRA programs: what’s new for 2022–23

The start of the school year brings many changes, and I’m happy to share with you some changes for our monthly UMRA forums and living well workshops for 2022-23. The main change is that we have returned to meeting in person for our luncheon forums. Yay!

We will continue to hold all workshops via Zoom—plus the January and February 2023 forums, to allow easy viewing and participation during these cold and snowy times. All UMRA workshop and forum webinars will still be free, as they have been over the past two-plus years.

Another important change: Making reservations and paying in advance via the UMRA website for our in-person luncheon forums is now easier than before. You also have a new option to reserve and pay online for more than one program at a time.

The UMRA Program Committee has been hard at work the past few months putting plans together for the year ahead, with forums featuring talks on new research, University issues, historical perspectives, and current events of interest to us as a community, and workshops with a more personal focus on wellness—physical, mental, social, and spiritual—for living well in retirement.
