Travel from the Portuguese Riviera to the sunny cliffs of the Algarve. In Evora, step inside a medieval city with Roman Ruins. Enjoy a leisurely 3-night stay in the Algarve region. Visit the classic fishing villages and take advantage of a free day to soak in the Portuguese sunshine on one of the most famous beaches in Europe. Last, but not least, savor the unique cuisine of Portugal, in great part molded by the Moors and the Sephardic Jews who inhabited the Iberian Peninsula, and the Portuguese explorers who brought back the cuisine of Brazil, Asia, and the 5 former colonies in Africa.
This is a chance to get to know other members of retirement organizations at universities in Minnesota.
