Retirement plan changes delayed by COVID-19

The Office of Human Resources has asked us to share with UMRA members a notice regarding the transition from Securian to Fidelity in the administration of the University’s retirement plans. It postpones the change until June 12, 2020, and indicates there will be no blackout period from March 20 to April 13.  —Bill Donohue, President UMRA

2020 Awards. In March 2020, a subcommittee of the UMRA Grants Committee reviewed 22 applications, recommending 18 be approved. In March Chris Cramer, Vice President for Research announced the recipients of the 2019 Professional Development Grants for Retirees. The recipients represented Morris, Duluth and CLA, CSE, CoD, CEHD, CECG, MED, Law and University Libraries on TC Campus.
