On Dec. 22, 1976, the Campus Club board launched retiree programming with a lunch. As an echo to that first lunch – 50 years later - on Dec. 16, 2026, you can gather with fellow UMRA members for Third Wednesdays in the West Wing.
Just show up at 11:30am, purchase lunch in the servery, then proceed to the West Wing to join a table with a "reserved for UMRA" sign. No agenda. No formal program. Just share lunch and interesting conversation - an opportunity to connect with fellow UMRA members and share stories.

How much do the experiences of our earliest years shape who we become — and even our physical health — decades later? For more than 50 years, University of Minnesota researchers have been exploring that question through the Minnesota Longitudinal Study of Risk and Adaptation.
