Andy Phelan enjoys keeping his mind active during tax season

For the past six years, UMRA member Andrew “Andy” Phelan has been part of the AARP Foundation Tax-Aide team of volunteers that provides free tax assistance and preparation service to millions of taxpayers throughout the United States.

December 4 hike

Event Date:

Please join us for an invigorating hike from The Monument located at the intersection of Mississippi RIver Blvd and Summit Avenue in St. Paul to Minnehaha Falls in Minneapolis and back.  This hike is on paved trails, approximately 5.5 miles in length, and will be at a pace suitable to the weather.

Cabinets of Curiosity: Goldstein Museum of Design

UMRA member Ann Nordby’s first job, at age 15, was in the Sears catalog department, fulfilling orders arriving via the vacuum tubes lining the walls. Today, among many interests, she coaches high school students on how to write effective college application essays.
